The best braking is achieved by fitting the booster on the pedal box from the six cylinder and Stage 1 models.

Many vehicles have been fitted with PBR or Clayton-Dewandre in line boosters. In fact the early six cylinder models were fitted with a PBR unit (Clyto-Dewandre in the UK) OEM

A PBR VH-44 is ideal and they can be fitted above the drivers footwell just outside the steering column. The cylinder on the booster unit is best fitted a little lower than the master cylinder to make bleeding easier.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

If fitting an pbr style booster make a bit of a shield over the vent filter as water and crap and get in there. I see it all the time

seen then in the seatbox area as well

mine had the remote booster where the air filter was and i have removed it.

it did make a significant difference and i will be trying to refit it in due course.

the only problem i have heard of is they can warp drums if to much pressure is applied over a long period while stationary and the drums are very hot.

i have never experienced it tho i have to say.
