Land Rover Series IIa Ambulance Project

So, early days yet, but a guy from home is emigrating, and selling off his Series IIa Ambulance project.

Land Rover Series IIa Ambulance Project for sale in Galway - DoneDeal.ie

Chassis was rotted out, so he's already modified a Range Rover chassis to fit. It's a big pile of bits at the moment, but everything is there. Comes with a 200tdi engine and box ready to drop in, coil springs and power steering, etc, bulkhead and doors have already been restored. The body is original, straight, ex-RAF so hasn't seen much action, even has the original stretchers in the back.

And all for a nice tidy (at least for now) €500 ($618).......

I'm just trying to get a feel for what people think, before I commit to buying. Worthwhile project, or should I let it pass on to the next bidder?

    G'day All,
I suppose it all depends on where you are located, the item ??? In Galway ? Ireland, is that where you are, if so it could be worthwhile, cheers Dennis.

Probably should have clarified that. It's sitting in someone's back yard, about 20 minutes from my parents house back home in Ireland, so yeah, distance isn't exactly a problem Was thinking of having it as a project for when I get home.
