    swb fuel pickup tube diameter?

    what diameter are the fuel pickup tubes in a swb fuel tank

    ?

    I am pretty sure they are the same as for the LWB. If you are thinking about the 4cyl with 10 gal side fuel tank. Just checked 1 in the shed and they are 5/16"

    Hmmm. I just bought some fuel lines... I think they're 3/16". Wonder if they'll draw enough fuel through.....

    Umm, that 5/16 was the OUT side diam. of the pick up tube that goes down in the tank. I am pretty sure the INSIDE diam of the fuel lines to the pump and motor are 3/16.

    Thanks. Well, that makes sense, 'cos I looked at my old fuel lines yesterday and it I appear to have been running around on 3/16" lines for years without a problem anyway....
