Question Help with a Part identification

    Hi all,

i have attached a photo of what i believe to be the hand brake relay lever

My question is, is it a hand brake relay lever and have i fitted it in the right spot?

the reason i ask is i had to remove the fuel tank to fit it and now the tank is hard up against the bolt heads.

cheers for your wisdom in advance

Yes it is the relay lever for the handbrake and it is also in the right position. What Land Rover ? have you got is it a 88" or 109", here is an image of one of my 88" showing the handbrake relay shaft in position relative to the bottom of the standard fuel tank

as you can see the hexagon heads of the 4" x 3/8"UNF bolts clear the std fuel tank, is your tank a std 45lt or did you have a larger tank made?, by the way nice clean chassis/paint job good work cheers Dennis
