Thread: Pressed Metal Corp records

Does anyone have access to records from Pressed Metal Corp? The very solid SWB SIIA I've just purchased (chassis # 24302318a) has a small metal plate from Pressed Metal Corp with body # 9354, Series # 889354.


The previous owner was under the impression that it was assembled in Sydney in June 1962 but knew nothing of the vehicles history after that. He bought it some 12 years ago as a pile of bits.


So can anyone shed any light on Pressed Metal Corp numbers and even possibly where the vehicle went from there.

I can't offer any information - but I am keen to see if anybody can, as I would like to know more about my '65, which was also a Pressed Metal Corp vehicle.
