Thread: Coiler side shafts with Series 2 carrier?

Hi all

Had a quick search, but nothing answers my question directly or comprehensively:

Can I drop a Series 2 carrier / diff center portion into an early RRC/110/Disco axle?

Firstly, do the mounting holes match between the older carrier and the later housing?

Secondly, do the later 10-spline shafts fit the earlier 10-spline carrier?

Mate as far as I know it should be straightforward as Landy owners have been putting the rrc 3.5 diff centres into 2a's for years.
