We get axle tramp on the 1912 14HP Delahaye... so I'd be factoring it in, especially if you want to use it to climb anything other than a perfectly surfaced road, but anyone that knows me will vouch for everything I build being over-engineered.

    Hey,

same plan I have in mind for mine, legal and financial restrictions apart

I've been doing research for a long time and I chatted with a well known fabricator who knows a thing or two about SOA and Land Rovers.

    Long story short:
    1. Open up crossmember.
    2. HIGH QUALITY leafsprings!!!!! Same specs as the factory ones (SW 109" IIRC).
    3. Rotate swivel balls.
    4. Powersteering.
    5. Hi-steer.
    6. Aftermarket rims with better offset!!!

    There, a starting point.

Why on Earth would you want a Series Landy to handle like a 30YO Hilux??? Taken with the idea of wearing the bitumen as a hat or something???
