    Landy ID plate

    Just wondering where do I look to find any ID plates or markings for my I think series two Landy , thanks .

    The identification plate should be on the firewqall directly in front of the gearlever, about halfway between the transmission tunnel and the dashboard. As it is only attached by self tappers, don't be too surprised if it is missing.

    The definitive chassis number is stamped on the outside of the LH rear back spring hanger, just above the shackle. (This applies to Australian assembled 2/2a/3 - in the unlikely event it is an import, try the RH side of the chassis, on the outside, just in front of the front wheel.)
