						Ah perfect ... Thanks James
Hi Mate,
When you take the water pump off - count the number of studs. There are 7 and 9 stud water pumps..
From memory on series 2's have one type - where-as 2a's and 3 have the other type.
I know that both of my Series 2's have the rare type! Doh !

Can the RTC 3072 kit work then ? .. It says it's for S2 and S3
My suggestion is - take off your current water pump (which you need to do anywsy), count the number of studs, contact the vendor and double check that the kit will work for the number of studs that you have!
Four Wheel Drives in Blackburn used to sell exchange water pumps from memory.

SubscriberI have an early IIA and when the water pump played up a few months ago the mechanics thought they could source a repair kit but found that they were no longer available. So a new water pump had to be sourced. Ouch!

I would press it appart and take the bearing and seal to a bearing shop and get them to match them. Try not to break the impellor.
