49000 may have been around the clock before, remember they don't have the extra 1000.00 First try to crank it, that will be a sine it isn't ceased. Brakes will always need attention, doesn't matter how long they have sitting for, check the oil for discolouration, still holding water, that are the first things to look for, oh besides rust

As above. Check clutch and brake pedals, but don't be surprised if they don't work - you probably will have to overhaul all the hydraulics anyway.

Check wheels for missing wheel studs (quite common, but does point to poor maintenance), look at springs for obvious broken leaves or rust bad enough to spread the leaves. Check all gears can be selected (could have a problem if you can't turn the engine) , check high/low for operation and yellow knob works. If they don't it is probably not serious, but good point for trimming price.

Look at brake backing plated for signs of hub seal leaks, and at swivels for leaks and rust - lack of leaks may indicate there is no oil in there!

See if there is appreciable sideways movement in either prop shaft.

Check steering free play. The wheel should have less than 50mm free play, if more, see where it is - tie rod ends, not too expensive, but at $25-50 each, remember there are six of them. Relay - you may find one for $150, but getting the old one out is one of the worst jobs on the vehicle. Steering box - expensive.

The wire spoked steering wheel is almost impossible to replace, and difficult or expensive to repair, so have a good look at it.

Have a look at the spring bushes, but assume that you will need to replace at least most of them anyway, together with shackle pins.

Sounds you are familiar with doing mechanic stuff, but don't have the room.

We have several here in varying states of repair or disrepair. So what sort of condition do you want?
