So I've got parabolic springs, that a good result then? So what are parabolic springs then, something about a better ride?

They probably got confused with the rear springs - they are supposed to have their shackles standing at about 45 degrees.

					As above they are fine.
Non-LR people worry that shackles standing straight up like that will invert offroad, but it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Parabolic springs that you have (called single-leaf springs in engineer speak) act as individual springs (rather than a pack), because they only touch in the middle and ends. Therefore interleaf friction is reduced, making them ride more like coils on the road, but not making much diference to overall wheel travel offroad (compared to semi-elliptic springs of the same rate).

EDIT - however those safety eyes seem to have been rolled a bit on the large side and are rubbing the chassis - at least on the rear...???
Not a big deal as they will only touch offroad.
