    Could someone tell me what year this land rover series 1 or 11 is? Id plate is a pressed metal corp ltd plate inside cabin with Body No. LRL 8288 , Ser No. 109 8288 and another number 25305967B

    Your chassis number (25305967 makes it a LWB 2A made between March 63 and April 66.

    Jason,

    There are some very evident visual cues between Series 1's and Series 2's which you'll easily spot on a Google image search. It gets a touch trickier with the later ones, but all of those visual identifiers are still there.

    is it possible to get paint code on a series 2a landrover from id plate numbers?

    Nope, for paint color take a part that has been out of the weather, eg. Behind the dash panel or under the seat lid to your local paint place and match it.
