		4 Attachment(s) Been awhile
Sorry been awhile since I actually done much work on the series 2 as work has been busy
after the series 3 was finished I have using that in my spare time as well
i have finally made time and painted the chassis and actually turned out really well , it’s also a nice feeling bolting things on instead of taking them off

It’s taken 6 months but finally finished the diffs
front diff input bearing had destroyed itself and rear was filled with new parts but I still stripped and checked but worked out well in the end
Biggest hassle was changing some of the diff mounting bolts as sometime one of its previous owners they put unf nuts on the bolts and destroyed the threads
Will be doing the galvanising next as I finally found a tub for my series 3 109 so forces it early just means poor old swb will have to wait longer for more work again

It’s a bit early to be doing the galvanising but as the new tub for my series 3 needed its trims done I thought I would add the series 2 trims and bits to the pile least by the time they need fitting they will be ready

Looks like they did a nice job. I re-did all of mine a few years ago, the only buckling I got was from the large rectangular roof gutter. Unfortunately it filled in all of the small holes in the windscreen frame for the windscreen glass retaining strips. Oops. (Managed to find them all and open the holes up again.)

Tackled the steering over the last month unfortunately the original steering relay shaft with filler in it was to pitted and worn so new one was bought. I have rebuilt a quite a few of these relays over the years and still they feel like working on a hand grenade but went together well plenty of anti sieze and into chassis. New tie rod ends were also fun getting out completely rusted in once all together the steering feels good and also fitted new drums after matching shoes to them.
