There is a guy in WA (I think) that makes entire replacement wiring looms.
AutoSparks in the UK do them as well - but freight is likely a killer.
When I restored my 2a - I just replaced the entire loom as the original loom was just too butchered.
What's your plan for the electrical system? I have a 63 2a that runs great but the wiring for the lights is an absolute mess.
Only one headlight comes on and none of the brake lights or blinkers work. Plus I don't think the high beam switch is working.
What would you do to fix it? I'm not an auto electrician but mechanically I'm not too bad.

Vinwire changed ownership early this year, I'm not sure whether they are up & running now.
Vintage Wiring Harness - VINWIRE home
For most items on a Series you don't need to be an electrician.
I've been sourcing the correct colour wire to repair a harness, just got onto a place in QLD that are about $15 for a 30mtr roll, problem is there are a lot of different colours if you want it done correctly !
The next decision is correct bullet connectors or some awful modern connectors that stand out like the dogs whatsits.
Personally I'm using bullet connectors.

Well been a long time since I have done some work on the old girl with kids moving back home and shoving there stuff in shed not a lot of room these days
The company that I dropped engine off for machine work kept putting it off for more favourable work so picked that back up a while back and will drop off to some one else next year
In the meantime I rebuilt an original 1510 series 2 1960 gearbox I found a while back most of the externals were rusted due to living outside in a paddock for many years before I found it
So with spares I had and some new bearings seals and a few new gears I now have a nice gearbox sitting in the chassis
The two original driveshaft’s splines were to worn for use so replaced with new
