Standard S3 and and 2a brakes are identical - 10" on swb, 11" on lwb, wider 11" on six and V8. But the lwb brakes were fitted to the front on very late S3 swb.

Any of the upgrades are worthwhile, and all are simple bolt-ons, but note that if you fit 11" brakes to a swb you also need to fit lwb master cylinder. The wider 11" brakes need to have the backing plates changed as well, as is obviously required for changing 10" to 11".

Obviously, the plumbing changes a bit as well.

Looking at the John Craddock website and there are 3 types of 243744 brake cylinders. Is there a difference between brands and is the non- gen option reasonable quality??
