When I converted my petrol SIIa to diesel, I ran the return line to a T piece that I installed in the breather line that goes to the filler neck.
Aaron.
Working thru fuel lines and connections and have looked at the S3 lwb diesel sender/fuel pick-up unit. If I use the combined sender/pickup for the fuel feed line, then I could use original input pickup for the diesel return line.
Question: will the combined 623098 lwb pickup work in the under seat fuel tank in my S2a?
Thx,

I've got a spare filler pipe that I was going to fit to the tank, but my sender is pretty rusty and I was considering replacing it anyway.
Running the return into the breather isn't a bad idea....I've just rewelded my breather as the joint had come open at some stage.
