Most of the screw in type caps also have old copper cored leads what type of dizzy do you have just look up the currrent cap for it
many lucus dizzies have been replced by bosch ones.
Hi all
My 64 S2A petrol currently has screw-in HT leads into the distributor cap. I think the screw-in part is called an acorn nut.
The current leads are very old with the outer sheath being hard/brittle. I would like to replace them with the standard type of push on HT lead.
Can I use a different distributor cap that suits the push on HT leads? If so which cap (and rotor) will suit?
Thanks heaps
Andrew
