    Distributor cap interchangeability

    Hi all

My 64 S2A petrol currently has screw-in HT leads into the distributor cap. I think the screw-in part is called an acorn nut.

The current leads are very old with the outer sheath being hard/brittle. I would like to replace them with the standard type of push on HT lead.

Can I use a different distributor cap that suits the push on HT leads? If so which cap (and rotor) will suit?

    Thanks heaps

    Thank you Whitehillbilly!

I'll harass the local Repco staff on Saturday morning.
