SERIES 2A in WA - 109 LWB FARM UTE

We found this Series 2A on a farm in Beverley, WA and are currently sorting the logistics of bringing her down to Perth so we can start working on her. I've wanted to start a thread on here but haven't managed to get my photos posting properly. I'd like to just browse and select photos from my hard drive but they're upside down or sideways. In the meantime I've started a blog at the link below and would love some feedback. The two photos on here I've posting using the URL address from my blog. Thanks to Cap for that information.

    More Photos

More photos. I think I could only put 2 in the first post because they were so big.

I was going to say nice dogs, but after seeing what they did to the seats, you boys are ridin out back.
    Looks great.
    Have fun
I'd try and keep a bit of its old charm.

Welcome. Those dogs looks as if they are saying 'this is my spot now, so you have to take it home'. Look forward to your work on the landy.

Thanks fitzy. Hmmm this is more the likely culprit for the seat handywork. Poodle Jamie of House Treen. The Kelpies are psycho at times but don't have a history of damaging things. Negotiations about the way she should look are in progress. Veronica would like to keep the old charm.

Is that a sand flag being worn by Mr Jamie the Poodle?

Yes, a custom hi viz vest made by me, Veronica. As well as being a feisty little so and so, little dog syndrome, this little pound puppy can't be trusted and likes to knick off. As well as the sand flag he's packing an old iPhone in his pocket. Flag and orange vest make him visible in the paddocks and the phone so we can track him if he gets lost. He only wears it when we go down to the family farm for the weekend.

    Hopefully the video works.

    Like the vest

Really like the vest for the dog. We have a cavoodle who is a real trial at the farm as she constantly tries to run for the hills or, more often, the road. We had to resort to two dog harnesses and two leads to keep her around when we were painting the axel last weekend. She still almost wriggled free and we have to take a break from working on the Landy to put her in the house yard. Perhaps we should try a hi vis vest.
    Cheers

    Hi Angus,

Unfortunately, he wriggles out of the purchased dog vest we use in the Colorado for the trip down to the farm. I made this one so I could add a pocket to take my old iPhone for tracking. He's unpredictable, one minute he's so good and then the next he just nicks off, even when were out in the paddocks with the other dogs - he's the only one that can fit through the fences too. I've resorted to using a long training lead with a rubber disc on the end so you can loop it through and it doesn't work it's way undone. I've also used a peg out line which is shorter but easier to work with as it doesn't tangle like a canvas lead. Both work well with him if he is close enough that he can see you and feel like he's with you. He has room to roam but can't run off. I wouldn't trust him not to chew through it if he got desperate enough. If he did that I would resort to a stainless steel line. I picked him up from the pound for my 88 year old mum, he was picked up wandering the streets and not microchipped or registered, now I know why. She passed and we inherited him 2 yrs ago. I would hate for him to disappear and not know his fate or worse he gets hit by a car and lying injured.

    cheers
    Veronica
