    Fitting hard top window seals

Some might find this of interest.
Fitted new rubber seals to the windows in my 2A 88 inch widelight over the weekend.
The last time I fitted window rubbers to one of my vehicles I had trouble getting a nice clean straight cut so that the ends of the rubber would butt up straight and clean. Back then I tried both a Stanley Knife, and Secateurs, but neither gave a good clean neat cut. Recently I was in Bunnings Plumbing section and I noticed the cutters that are used for cutting the Smart-X plastic tubing, so I grabbed one.
Very happy with the result, they cut the rubber perfectly.

    Cheers, Mick.
