Depends on who fitted them.
They were fitted by the dealer or the owner at a later date because they weren't standard fitment back then.

Hi all,
I'm trying to ascertain the reasoning as to why the front indicators are either horizontal or vertical. Maggie is vertical (in that the side lights are above the indicators) and I've seen countless version of the indicators beside the side lights. Is there a reason as to this placement ? Is it model dependent ? (Maggie is an early S2). I thought she may be ex military but I don't think this is the case as the chassis numbers don't really match up. Thanks in advance for any help that can shed light on this.
Cheers
