Hell John, if you the Ghuru with all the manuals & parts books doesn't know, we are in a bad way.Was the diagphram an option for Mils?
The clutch on my 1970 2a FFR has started to slip. I assume that it will be fitted with the optional diaphragm spring clutch, but does anyone know for sure so that I can order parts before pulling it to bits?

Can we assume that you have already checked that there is enough freeplay in the linkage?
You should be able to look through the inspection panel underneath the gearstick mount to see which pressure plate that you have.

Yes, it is not free play. I have been expecting this, the clutch has been getting lighter!
And yes, I know I can see it through the inspection panel, but that means removing the floor!
I am hoping someone has a definite answer. Of course, the army may have used both, so in that case, heaven knows what I have!
