    There's a guide roller that locates in the cover plate, apart from that nothing to fall out. It's obviously easier to put back together on a bench.
    You could probably just use gasket cement instead of a gasket on the side cover.
    There's an adjuster & locknut on the side cover, slacken this off and adjust once you've re-assembled

    Most of the usual suppliers will have the gaskets and O-rings. I buy from an O-ring supplier and get 10 at a time so I have them in stock.

    Great job! Your Landy looks marvellous. Congratulations.

    I'll second the comment about how good it looks with the roof off. Somehow, Series Landies look so much better open-topped.

    Great job . & they doo look good with the top off , even better with the screen down on the bonnet, that is the way I like driving my 80" 040.jpg
