Here are some photos of my 1970 Series 2a build. A little research shows it was last registered in 1998 and by the 50kg of caked red dust i have cleaned off it, it has been sitting in some barn in far North South Australia for well over a decade.
It is not a full resto but my first car project (i normally hit Ducati's with my hammers), so chassis cleanup, new shocks, springs restored (wow, i had to but i much larger hammer to do the rubbers), new brakes, spit and polish the interior and paint....moving onto the motor now.

Tidy enough and pretty well an original old girl.
It should keep you off the streets, busy, and almost broke for a while.
A bit of good old bush engineering on the throttle linkage for the Stromy conversion.
Good luck and keep the pics coming of the refurbishment as it progresses.
Cheers, Mick.
