Hi all, can anyone confirm if early 1960s Series 2a (specifically 88’s) came in the “light green” colour, or was that only used with later model series Land Rover’s?
Cheers, Matt

Excellent, thanks for that BSF. Exactly the info I was looking for. Cheers Matt
Might have been available, but my memory from that period (and almost all the ones I have seen since) says that in the early sixties in Australia, unless you are a fleet owner asking for a special colour, your swb came in dark green, and your lwb in grey (station wagons were fully imported, so did not necessarily apply). The 1961 Series 2a I bought in 1965 as the second owner, was white - but the interior and trayback were grey. Apparently repainted new by the dealer prior to delivery.
