After trying to locate a replacement heater coil for olmate, I finally have one coming form England. I have been spoilt for my 40th birthday and, thanks to a lot of people, I now have no reason to complain about the cold.

How hard is it to get the other bits of the heater and how much was the new core?
We've just bought a IIa ute and it's bitterly cold inside in cold weather, as I'm sure you guys know.
I'm very new to Landys but the missus needs this for work and she does vine pruning on a vineyard in the middle of winter so any sort heat improvement would be a help.
they say necessity is the mother of invention or something like that,
most people here are inovative, as a suggestion have a look at wreckers and the like ( not sure about your area)
some of the older japanese buses and landcruisers had similar ( maybe a squarer shape if memory serves me right) mounted on the floors under the seats
perhaps if you find one of those you can adapt it
only a suggestion, next time i am at the local wrekers will have a look.
