I notice that you have also posted this message in the Sydney LROC section. When we can identify the model and general condition, someone can give you some ideas on value.

Green and army are difficult things when talking about Land Rovers. The vast majority of the short wheelbase models were green including civilian, government and Army.

Is there a car identification plate - if you give us the number stamped into that it will also assist.

When you go to sell it, your options are vast, in the Markets section on this forum, on the Trading Post newspaper or on Ebay are just some. Even the LROC may circulate your email.

I have attached a couple of pics, hopefully this will make things easier. As for the model and ID plate, I'll have to suss it out when I get home. The condition is good but I will try and identify anything not so good.

Have now seen the images - yes definitely Army, most likely a GS (general Service) vehicle. The white colour (or should that be shade) may be a sign of UN overseas service and it even has it's gardening tool brackets, (they go for $250 by themselves), the boys in the REMLR (Registry of Ex-Military Land Rovers) will be interested.

The price range you mentioned is about right and if you sold through eBay the auction could go more (or not). On eBay, decide what you want as a minimum and covering cost and start there.

Maybe you could join REMLR and then the boys will come over and help you maintain him and even restore him to full parade standard!

You would have to buy yourself some military fatigues to look the part however.
