    Thanks for the tip but a mate from a VW forum (of all places!!) got me one and so I'm all sorted now.
    And anyhow, that one must be from II or a III because the IIa is different.

    Naw! .....no good......it has sold.....and now sitting in my shed waiting to be exchanged for the one on my GS109.....which is in working condition and might be available once I swap them over
