    1960 Series 2, 109, FFR,
    ARN 111 304.
    Started service in Vic.

Looks to have some mil bits (bonnet clamps, D- Rings, vent screens, map light & dash, and tub)

Has a 6-cyl gearbox which is odd.

My guess is the blue mod plate is for the holden motor conversion.

May be worth hanging on to.

    G'day Cuci,
Find the chassis number on the left rear spring hanger and check the REMLR files to see if it is ex-army.

It might be a Command Recce; it appears to have the army horn button on the right of the steering column

Check behind the skins someone has put on the front wings and you should find three drill holes about 4mm in diameter in a triangular pattern; these are where the tac sign holders would have been rivetted; do the same inspection on the rear body.

Have a look underneath the rear body and you might find a blackout light, which shines on the rear diff. The diff may still have some white paint on it.

If you are going to modify the old girl I will buy the map light and blackout light off you if you are interested in selling

    Cheers Charlie

Ummmm, you may need to go down the list a little further.

Chassis Number 153000826 ( on the blue plate ) is actually 111-304............. or was that a new number issued from the Transport authority?
