Just for info...Changed the speedo in my 2a from the original MPH to a KPH using a classic Range Rover speedo. Was just a matter of removing head from RR housing, swapping odometer reset shaft (just a circlip) and putting it into the 2a housing. The best part is the speedo cable is screw in (unlike the series 3's plastic clip) so you don't have to change it. Also the three lights (cold start, high beam and oil pressure) aren't at the bottom of the RR speedo. I put a high beam warning light elsewhere.
Now to find a BIG, LONG hill and a tail wind and see if the old girl can get up to the 200 KPH mark.
