    Handbrake return spring

Does anyone have a picture of where the handbrake return spring mounting point on the transfer case is?

    Thanks, Peter

    Here you go...

Looks like my return spring wasn't doing much .. since it's hanging loose.

I think it's supposed to be hooked into that little hole on the chassis towards the right hand side.

One end of the spring should be attached to the lever as in the previous post and the other should go to a similar bracket on the stud of the gearbox mounting plate on the gearbox.

    Doh! I'm a doofus.

I've now attached the spring to the correct bracket .

Thanks guys. Now all I have to do is root through the boxes of bits until I find the bracket - or else start to make one.

If you don't find one, I'm sure that Brian at Land Vehicle Spares will have some, as that is the same bracket that's used for the return spring on the clutch pedal.
