The easiest to fit is the 2.25D. The engine is basically a straight swap, apart from the plumbing.
People have also fitted 200Tdis - with and without turbos.
However a 200Tdi with turbo would be hard on your gearbox.
Cost depends on what you can get the engine and bits for. I think my 2.25D conversion cost $1200 all up.
