I thought the rego disc would have the engine number on it.
Nothing would be stamped on the chassis. Only the Chassis number.
Hi All
Question about rego - I have a Series 111 Table top that when I acquired it I was assured it had been registed with the Holden Motor in it ( I have no reason to doubt that as I know the bloke fairly well ) - but being a typical dairy farmer, he couldnt find the papers- Would the info on the rego label ( which I do have )be sufficent for the R.T.A to confirm that , yes it was registed with the Holden Motor or should/could there have been a new engine number stamped on the chassis - if so where do I look - Vehicle was last registed in 98
Thanks
Gerard

As long as the numbers on your engine/chassis match the previous papers you will be fine, I went through the same thing with a motorbike.
The LR might have been registered with the Holden motor prior to the current engineering requirements. That's fine if the registration is maintained (ie, not left unregistered). You might find now though that it needs to be inspected by an engineer.
What sort of Holden motor was fitted to the motorbike?
