I had massive offset rims on my series, but it won't make much difference to the turning circle - the swivels just don't have the range - you'll get a little bit, but not much - the balls on series are too big and beefy, where they meet the axle flange is too big and almost at the limit with standard bump stops (the ball seal will run in free air). If they went a smaller axle bearing and reduced the ball flange accordingly then yes - but no, lr thought the 5kg axle needed a massive 10000kg bearing to handle the load . the uni joints will handle the extra angle - but you just can't use it.

BTW - the little bit extra you'll get is worth it though

Hey hardchina, what make were the rims you had on your series, i see the wheels and tyres for sale in the markets section and it says 80, is that negative. im trying to chase up a set of 16x8 rims with the most amount on neg offset to go on a stage 1 isuzu with 35x10.5 simex's for a mate as the turning circle is appalling.

I've ordered some new tubeless Wolf rims, just trying to decide whether to get 235/85 or 255/85 tyres now.

Mmm this is a first, quoting myself.

I've just gone and checked, it does not look as though I'll get away with Wolf rims and 255/85R16 as the tyres would poke out past the bodywork, I'd have to put on rubber wheel guards.

Wow abiobi what a neat rig!! Have you done all that work yourself? What engine are you running in it? Have you got any details/pics of the Power Steering conversion...looks to be a bit different to some of the others on here.

    Ps Sorry for the hijack.
