    Door Locks Handles

    Hi All,

Just got a new drivers side door handle/lock assembly (finally I'll have a door that closes and locks properly) and wondering what is involved with removing and replacing the old one. Do I need to drill out the old rivets (?) and if so what's the best replacement for them as they don't look familiar to me.

    Cheers,

Just 4 bolts for the assembly, are you replacing the lock or did you buy a new lock??

If using your old lock there is a pin hole you need to locate and put in a small screwdriver or pin to take out lock.

I got the whole assembly i.e. handle mechanism, lock barrell, new keys etc. Even though it's probably just the lock, I figured it might be easier to replace the whole thing, then keep the other for spares.

Gonna be strange having such new parts on the old girl
