    G'Day Steve,
The flairs are original Game spec, I gave them a coat of paint to spurce them up. They come up for sale occasionally.

    Hi Dmmos,

The Games were all a colour called "Yellow Devil". As far as I know it was not used on other Landrovers but may have been used on some other Leyland cars around the same time. Have a look in the sticky section at the top of the series III forum and there is a thread there with information about the Games and the paint code is there as well.

Thanks mate - it looks nice. My SIII is Camino Gold (& aluminium ), I didn't like the yellow/gold variants in the past, now I wouldn't want another colour.

Managed to get the gearbox done this weekend and had thoughts of getting it in the game then mother nature had other ideas and it rained.
The gearbox went together quite well except the 1st 2nd sycro hub, unknown to me it had been assembled back to front, but silly me thinking she'll be right goes ahead and assembles it and taps the rear bearing on and hang on a sec bugger.
pull it apart again and of course ping the springs and ball bearings shot of to the furthest point they could get to
    Reassembled everything and it worked.
The gear on the back is for the overdrive

Next weekend or if I get time this week the game will have a gearbox and I can reasseble the seatbase and floor getting close now.

    Hi Killer,
Im going to be running a Roverdrive, my game when I first saved it had a holden engine and a series 2A gearbox with its original transfer box but no overdrive, so I saved my pennys and got a roverdrive, Ill let everyone know how it goes once its up and running.
Also as you can see the Roverdrive is alot beefier than the old Fairy OD

Got the gearbox today, not to hard, have to put transmission bits in a bit at a time, so that its managable.
Also found one of the transfer box mounts has worn oval so will fix it before installing it.
