Another Series 3 on the block

Well after 10 months of restoring our Series 3, l have lost lost count of how many hours spent on the car.
Nearing the end of the main restoration, and the vehicle is now road registered and driving well.
The car has had pretty much a full overhaul, and numerous thousands spent.
Starting to loose track on what l have spent, but l wont tell the wife if you dont
In regards to the thread (You must be crazy spending that much money on a Series 3).
Well, l dont really care what people say or think.
I love Landrovers of all age and types, and think the Series vehicles add a sense of nostalgia.
They may ride a bit ruff and so on, but gee there fun to drive and certainly bring you back to the basics.

Nice, but where did you get the carpet?

Nice job, my S3 LWB is in the pipeline too as soon as the wet weekends stop long enough to get some of the work done.

Where did you get the front fitted carpet kit and was it expensive? I'm thinking of doing something similar with mine.

The carpet kit is rubber backed and easy to install.
It will cut out a fair bit of firewall engine noise to.
I purchased most of my parts from Paddock Spares UK.

    http://www.paddockspares.com/pp/SERI..._4cyl_RHD.html

The carpet set was 65 pounds or $105.00 Aussie.
Note that the carpet set is properly made and will fit perfectly.
Most pieces are edge stitched etc.
Can be removed easy if required.
The rear seats kit was 31 pounds or $50.00 AUD each.

l do have a pair of brand new three point seat belts to suit for sale, which
i will put into the markets soon.
    Cheers Dave
