Thread: It's never ending!

G'day All, You state that you have lost 3rd n 4th gear, my guess is the ??flat springs in the syncro unit may have let go, I can't see anything from the pix anyway a picture from S2/2A G/box, number 35 there should be 3 of these, if you are missing any, etc that will cause you grief


they can be replaced without removing G/box, it is a fiddly job, maybe somebody up in your area may be able to help you out??, hoping thats of some help. I can't see anything from your pix cheers Dennis

it's the synchro unit!!,,.

i can see the flat springs, they are on place, do you think they can just ``let go``?
Another thing, i try to close the gearbox and run the car, but now no one of the gear want to work, what went wrong?
