I have a Series 3 Stage 1 with the Rover 3.5L V8 and I have a slight coolant leak that I am about to tackle, or I would if this darn weather would stop raining and washing away all the traces of the leak when I open the bonnet.
What coolant should I be using in this motor?
Can I use one of the readily available pre-mixed coolants suitable for alloy motors or is there a specific coolant that has to be mixed to a particular ratio for this motor.
Hopefully this is a readily available item and not only available from a boutique supplier who only opens for business between 11:35am to 12:02pm on Thursdays in months without an 'r' or 'y', in an out of the way location.

I find Nulon Longlife green to be excellent in my RRC. Available from Supercrap.
Do not use premix as none AFAIK are 50%.
Mix the Nulon 50% with distilled or demineralised water only..
Put a new water pump in last year and absolutely NO corrosion in the pump after 18 years ( last 10 with Nulon changed every 2-3 years)

I always Tectaloy gold and mix it myself with distilled water
an ethyl-glycol mix.
I use the nulon green longlife as primary choice (means I get all my fluids through one supplier ) and the tectaloy as the secondary.
take the time to put a flush through the system.
