Heater Control Valve Ser 3 Stage one

Anyone got any suggestions on where one can find a Heater Control Valve - the one that turns water on and off for the Heater Matrix?

Mine is ceased so looking for aftermarket or new part from here or UK.

Alternatively anyone got any suggestions on other solutions that one can use?

    Thanks in advance

Thanks but I believe the series 3 ones are different to the stage one. On a Stage One the valve is on the side of the heater box.

I have found the following universal valve that I might use

see ebay 16mm (5/8") Car Heater Tap Valve Universal Type Hot Rod - eBay Other, Cooling Systems, Car, Truck Parts, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 21-Oct-10 10:07:34 AEDST)

I wonder if this will do the job given I cant find anyone that sell the genuine part and these are only $25!

Try Car Builder Solutions - NF Auto. One-stop Shop for Parts, Tools and Accessories for the Car Builder. Neil and Matt Foreman.. There are some valves in there, but even if you don't see any you like the catalog is worth drooling over anyway.

I looked around for a bit, here's the best I found at the time! The tap works well, I turn it on in winter and off in summer. Might not suit all applications!!

Thanks Stage One - did think of this as an option but wanted cab control so neat and tidy (although I do ask myself how often in Qld will I use this????) - I have attached a choke cable (cutting the ends off) to the leaver in the cab and have bought one of the valves I posted the pic for - $25 delivered to the door.

Can I ask which way round and to where the top heater hose and bottom heater hoses go to? Mine was disconnected - I presume the pipe abover the rear of the valley cover goes to the top of the heater and the bottom of the heater goes to the back of the water pump.

I see you have your valve on the one for the pump so which direction does water flow in?

    Thanks

I really don't know! I set mine up so the under the mainfold pipe from the pump, to the tap, witch then enters the bottom of the heater core. It works fine, I realy don't think it matters. It either hot one side or the other!!
