    Hi all
Can someone tell me the flow rate on a series three 6 cylinder fuel pump?

The SU web site doesn't give a flow rate for the AZX 1500 Product Search Results | SU - The SU Carburetter Company.

Check out this pump Universal Electric Fuel Pump Toyota Hilux Petrol Carby (eBay item 130477995005 end time 21-Feb-11 09:07:36 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats. The web site behind it suggests 2L/min should do the job.

This one suggests 30 gal/hr, which is 2.25 L/min if it's using imperial gallons FACET SOLID STATE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP 4-6 PSI FP40106N (eBay item 140430915196 end time 13-Jan-11 16:02:47 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats.

    2-4l/min depending on engine speed.

The Facit pump that I use as a transfer pump on my auxilliary tank takes 25mins to pump 55litres.
So that's equilivalent to a flow rate of about 2 litres/min (with about a 400mm lift) which would be a more than adequate flow rate to feed your engine at any speed.

Been a while since I bought it - the only number I can see on it is 574A.
    I hope this means something.

    G'day Folks

Bought a Facet from Repco Caboolture just before X'mas and here are the specs: Model FEP 12 SV blister pack FPX008BL

    12volt
    4-7psi
Gal /hr =35 (probably US gals)
    Ltres/hr =132.5
    Compatable with all fuel additives
    Eliminates vapour lock
No flooding insures restart on hottest days
    2 wire design

it also stresses that they need to be fused 3-5amp NEG Earth, and mount within 12 vertical inches of the tank at 45 deg upward direction

I will in the near future be replacing my mechanical pump on the 2a 2.25L as the E10 fuel is unkind to the rubber components in the pump and filter bowl

    cheers
