I have had "Spanish Olive" as the best guess at the colour of Bella, but the fella at the paint shop said it would be easier to match the paint with some unfaded paint from vehicle than to try and find the right paint code.
Looks the same colour as my Isuzu C240 powered Series III.
It's been painted and then rubbed down by the previous owner so doesn't look great in this picture. I'll have a look for a paint code.
Fred Smith in Bayswater has a mint Series III SWB in this colour, well mint except for the damaged wing and a blown motor.
He mentioned it was a 'rare' colour ..... maybe that explains the price he wants for it !

Hello.
My 1975 88" is what is often colloquially called "National Park Service green" in NSW - this is quite a different colour to Spanish Olive which was used on some later model minis and, I think, the P76.
I think most of the earlier S3 88" trucks came in this colour while the later ones were changed to Spanish Olive as part of a standardisation of paint colours across the Australian Leyland range. My late uncle bought a new 88" soft top in 1974 and it is the same colour as mine presently is.
Cheers,
Hi I am busy rebuilding a 1975 Ute any paint colour charts???

If you google 'Leyland Australia paint colours' you should get a good bundle of them.
Do you know what the original colour is?
