    Centre dash add on panel

Seems that a few english land rovers have a triangular (best way to describe it as the edge faces forward) dash panel that fits over were the additional gauges go in the centre. Did these come out here at all? I'm after a way to put some extra switches and the lpgas controls in without wrecking or overly modifying the interior too much, and without having to try and make something from scratch. Has anyone seen these about other than on the UK ebay? Or how hard to find are the ex mil blackout panels?

a panel similar to what you describe was fitted to the Perentie FFRs.

I had one on my S3 (1978) 109. This is the best pic I have. I think they were a land rover item. Had Brake and other warning light.

The Game, which was an Australian only model had it, maybe it came out later in the S III life.

My 78 diesel had it and the 78 FFR has a larger flat fornted one. A landy wreckers should be able to sort it out for you.

My Dormobile has this item fitted, although it's had too many switches fitted to it over the years and could do with replacing. It has the remains of a "Brake" switch fitted, any ideas what this did ??

Don't suppose there are any landy wreckers nearby? I'm at Caboolture too but not aware of any wreckers round here with landy stuff (at least none closer than up the coast or Gympie)

It would be worth dropping British Off Road up at Forest Glenn an email to see if they have something out the back. Dont know of any other series wreckers around.
