    Interior Light Query...........

The interior light was missing from the Dormobile, with just two wires hanging from the headlining. The purple wire is constantly live and can be traced back to the "panel light switch".
This switch turns on/off the instrument lights, so when you switch it again to position two should it work the interior lights ?? or is it just a feed for power ??
My County has a similar arrangement on this switch and works okay as long as the switched light on the roof is "on"

Plain purple in lucasspeak is fused battery power. It should be continuous (with joiners) through to the fuse box. The other wire will be a switched earth, either through door switches or a dash mounted override switch. I believe it should be purple with a white stripe. You can use the purple +12V power supply wire and a switch on your replacement interior light straight to earth.
