seatbelts for all seats except sideways facers (fit them anyway, save the argument)
horn, lights, tyres, safety glass, wipers, heater, aim for no leaks, stop in a straight line must do better than 60/40 on brakes/parkbrake test, 2 stage door locks, Structurally sound (no major rust),
hit them and right off of the top of my head you're pretty much covered.
(Im trying to find the online copy of the ADR cheat sheet that has the cross reference chart.)

Thats the one you need to be complaint with if your vehicle is fitted with any of the items covered (ie if youve added reversing lights or modified something under the scope of these regulations)

Thats the one you want to use to scope out additions, The ADR is in effect for the addition only at the time of fitment (IE if you fit a child seat restraint today you must comply with the latest ADR if it was fitted 10 years ago and you can proove it you only have to comply with that ADR)
