    TYRES

Ok so ive desided to keep the green landy & have taken the parabolics out of the wagon as its getting scraped. so there ready to be fitted to the green one..Now the green one has 31 X 10.5 X 15. On 15X8 rims.

I want to know whats the biggest tyre you run & if use have some pics of them fitted..I have seen one series 3 fitted with 33X12.5X15 But thats it i only seen it never got to speak to the owner.

I am about to buy new tyres & realy want bigger ones especialy with the parabolics fitted as it gives a great lift..
BUT i dont know what size to get so am asking to see whats the biggest you have & some pics..

Any help or advise be great guys thanks.

I have set the full lock on the steering as per the workshop manual (12.7mm if memory serves) they do not rub on anything. Rims are a -25 offset I think....

Bob jane description on the docket is DYN15x8 Tri 5x165.1 N0 Black. OR maybe that N0 means no offset... can anyone tell me? I just asked for rims that would work and Bob jane supplied them.

Turning... umm hard to comment because they are the only tires i've driven it on. It is fairly heavy compared to a modern car at lower speeds. Still manageable.

Hey mate, How many mm are they sticking out at the moment? I want to get 32x11.5 and am trying to work out the best offset for my "game" flares.
    Cheers

I put a 50mm flexy flare on and that covers them up nicely.

    Here's a before and after.

Those tyres dont look like they stick out at all. I cant understand why you where told they had to have the flares

O they do stick out a little.... it's hard to get a photo that shows it clearly. Now that I think about it, the tread pattern didn't really stick out, it was more just the side wall of the tyre... BUT the inspector said "you need flares" I think he was just trying to fail me on my roadworthy so he could come back and charge me more money.

If these flares come off I dont know that I'll bother to put new ones on. OR maybe I'll put Defender flares on......
