Congrats, that is a resto to be proud of by the looks of it![]()
Great Landy, love the paint job. Am doing up a 109 at the moment and like the colour you have sprayed yours. What brand of paint and colour please?
The paint colour was matched to the inside of the front vents/Flaps, when I took them off, it was the only paint that had never seen direct sunlight, so I believe that it was the closest colour match to the original, every panel was stripped back to bare metal, before spraying, and I am really happy with the colour match, I also have a truck cab of the same colour match, and a full hard top as well!!
I wish I knew how to make the images larger, I hope someone will be able to sort it out for me
Thanks
Karl

Wow that is impressive!
What was the duration of your build?
Thank you, About 18 months on and off, owned the landy for 2 and a half years, I was only going to replace the rear cross member and front spring over hangers, and put it back on the road, but unfortunately, Land rovers come apart very easily, the next thing I knew, I was taking the chassis to be galvanised!!! and that was when the rebuild started, never tried to doing anything like this before, and do not have a mechanical background, just kept reading the manual and asking questions, Blknight.aus helped out no end, so a big thanks to Dave
Cheers
Karl
