    I have a early 2A 109 here with a P76 V8 in it.
I purchased it as a non goer for parts, as the engine had fataly failed on the previous owner. It had not had the diff centres changed to a higher ratio and I think driving it at 100-110 kmh, the engine was reving way too hard and thus, it was detrimental to it's life. The vehicle was on LPG and the heads had only been reconditioned 10k before the engine failed.
The motor had been in the vehicle for many years and had done a good number of kilometres, serving the owner well, before it's failure.

    Cheers, Mick.

Would be good fun, but not sure about g/box and axles but I guess that if you don't floor it constantly it should be ok, love to do it myself but I'd certainly go for an overdrive or higher diff centers to drop the revs.
