I'm pretty sure I installed one... but i've only done a couple of 1000kms with it so can't really tell you how good it is other than it holds oil and turns when you turn the steering wheel
I am replacing the steering relay in my series 3 and I have a spare Bearmach one here and want to know what the quality is like. Is it worth installing or are they junk? It came with a collection of parts that were in the back of a vehicle I purchased a few years back.

The general feeling is that the aftermarket ones are poor quality and the shafts can fail. This covers **itpart & Bearmach, not sure if it's the same Indian supplier though.
Probably better to overhaul a genuine one.
