    stretched series.....i assume SIII

    spotted this in sapphire.....1??in



    appears to be an auto


    ford engine?


    it has another two fill spot on the other side as well....there used to be four fuel tanks

    Me too. I would like o know more about it... I wonder if anyone at LROCV knows anything? That's what the club sticker is. I'll ask around and see if any of the longer term members know it. You would think someone would remember something like that.

    Wow that's a blast from the past
    Series 2A 145 inch wheelbase
    Ford C4 auto
    3 16 gallon fuel tanks and 2 75 litre LPg tanks

    Was mine for several years during which a reconditioned motor LPg and the auto was fitted
    Was a superb towing vehicle
    Sold to finance a 110 Tdi Defender in about 1995

    It's now sitting at the back of the post office at sapphire. I didn't speak to the owner but the guy that just brought the tyre and battery shed said it hadn't moved since he arrived in town......four or was it six months ago
