Must have got soft in the head. Went to ask the neighbour for some loctite to use on my Disco wheel bearing fix & came back with the concoction below for my son. Now there is an intruder in my garage, using my tools, re-arranging & generally wreaking havoc in what is generally an organised mess. All in the interests of the brand & suppose.
It/she/he is a Series 3 with a 3L V6 fuel injected Mitsubishi Magna engine mated to a Toyota Supra 5 speed box with the original landie transfer case on the back of that. The bulkhead is from a 4 cyl but it/she/he used to be a 6 cyl so has the bigger front brakes. Not looking like too much work before rego.
Any ideas on how father & son can learn to cohabit in the same garage?

Hide all your tools and any valuable parts now ..... I destroyed every tool my father ever owned.... If it was one of those tools that couldn't be destroyed it was lost. Any part that was usuable ... I usedHe's waiting for my kids to grow up 'cos he reckon payback is going great
On the bright side, in 20years time you'll be borrowing tools from your kids (like my father does) and think your hilarious... "I'll bring it back later ........ If I dont' loose it .... or break it .............. Or lend to to someone else and never get it back" .... Yeah really funny![]()

He's also waiting for my son to get a little older so he smashes everything inside the house too (or pull it apart... for no reason ... you know, just to see how it works)

That's an interesting combo, whats the 3L V6 like in it? Push it along well?
I am lucky...my boys are still young enough and enthusiastic that they want to help me! It's my dog that pinches sockets that I have concerns with....

Once the "tadpoles" start jumping you won't see hide nor tail of him!
Then you will wish he was about to give you a lift or a hand with things, so enjoy it while you can.
By the way a nice looking series and I would be interested to know how it performs as I also think it's
an interesting combo. A few snaps of under the hood etc would be good.
Do you have any idea who actually set up the conversion and how simple or complicated it was?
Cheers, Mick.

The dogs I've had have only ever stolen beer ....... and welding gloves... First time it happened I wandered around the place for ages cursing .... It's bad enough every tool going and hiding the second I put it down, but when your beer goes walk about you get really annoyed. Eventually I found the dog down in the front yard with the beer can on its side, still madly licking up the puddle of beer.
